Story:
In 1125 AD, the Jin army launched a large-scale invasion of the Northern Song Dynasty. Guo Yaoshi, the commander of Yanjing, defected to the enemy, and Liang Fangping, the commander guarding the Yellow River, fled, allowing the Jin forces to advance directly towards Tokyo, the Northern Song capital.
Emperor Huizong of Song abdicated his throne to his son, Emperor Qinzong (Zhao Huan), and fled to Zhenjiang.
The minister Yang Shi submitted a memorial, stating: 'Facing a formidable enemy, we must rouse our spirits to resist the Jin invasion. If we remain dejected and dispirited, only destruction awaits us.'
