Story:
Guan Yu, upon hearing news of his sworn brother Liu Bei, immediately packed his belongings, sealed the gold, and hung up his official seal. He traveled thousands of miles, escorting his two sisters-in-law, to find Liu Bei. Guan Yu killed six of Cao Cao's generals and passed through five fortified cities before finally crossing the Yellow River.
As he continued his journey, a group of people blocked his path. The leader, a big man with a black, curly beard, exclaimed in surprise upon seeing Guan Yu, "Is that not General Guan?" He dismounted, knelt down, and said, "I am Zhou Cang from Guanzhong, and I have admired the General for a long time."
He expressed his willingness to dismiss his followers and join Guan Yu, adding, "Zhou Cang is a simple-minded fellow who had fallen into banditry. Today, seeing the General, it's like seeing the light of day again; how could I bear to miss this opportunity!"
