Story:
Once upon a time, there was a clever cowherd named Wang Mian. He was excellent at painting lotus flowers, and his paintings were so lifelike they seemed as if the lotuses had just been plucked from the water and placed on the paper.
He neither pursued official positions nor sought many acquaintances, preferring to spend his days at home reading and painting.
One day, the local government asked him to paint some lotus pictures for a superior. Unable to decline, he painted a few.
The magistrate was so astonished by his talent that he personally went to visit Wang Mian, who then emerged leisurely and unhurriedly to greet him.
