Story:
During the Southern and Northern Dynasties, Hou Jing, a provincial governor of Northern Wei, defected to Gao Huan. After Gao Huan's death, Hou Jing led his troops to surrender to Emperor Wu of Liang in the Southern Dynasties.
Not long after, he instigated a rebellion, captured Jiankang, the capital of Liang, and changed the name of his regime to Han. Every time his army went into battle, he would massacre the inhabitants of the cities he captured. He even issued an order prohibiting more than two people from conversing, which caused widespread resentment among the common people.
Prince of Xiangdong, Xiao Duo, led an army to defeat Hou Jing and killed this arrogant and overbearing man.
