Story:
During the Qing Dynasty, Yuan Shaofen, the son of Yuan Fengbin, a wealthy landlord in Renhe County, Hangzhou Prefecture, was a pampered young master who lived a life of luxury. He was naturally fond of gambling and owed 272 silver dollars to a gambler named Shen Qi.
When Shen Qi went to the Yuan family to collect the debt, he not only failed but was severely beaten. In despair, Shen Qi committed suicide by taking poison at the gate of the Yuan mansion.
The onlookers, seeing an opportunity, rushed into the Yuan residence to loot valuable items. By the time Yuan Fengbin returned home, the crowd had already dispersed in a noisy rush, leaving chaos behind.
