Story:
In the late Qin Dynasty, Xiang Yu, the Hegemon-King of Chu, and Liu Bang, the King of Han, vied for control of the land. Their armies faced each other at Guangwu, and both soldiers and local civilians were weary and resentful.
Xiang Yu, eager to eliminate Liu Bang, said to him, "You and I are the only ones contending for power in the world. I don't want to mobilize all our forces; I wish to challenge you alone to decide who is superior."
Liu Bang smiled and politely declined, stating that he preferred to contend with wits rather than brute force.
