Story:
Towards the end of the Warring States period, Prince Dan of Yan escaped from Qin and sought out righteous warriors Jing Ke and Gao Jianli. He asked Jing Ke to assassinate King Ying Zheng of Qin.
When all preparations were complete, Prince Dan, along with his attendants dressed in white, saw them off at the Yi River. Gao Jianli played the zhù (an ancient stringed instrument), and Jing Ke sang aloud: "The wind sighs, the Yi River is cold; once the brave warrior departs, he shall never return!" The song was spirited and fervent, deeply moving, and the group parted with tears.
