Story:
During the Tang Dynasty, regions like Weizhou in the north had vast territories and powerful armies. Although the local military governor (Jiedushi) was nominally appointed by the emperor, Luo Wei inherited his father's position, which the emperor eventually had to acknowledge.
Luo Wei was fond of Confucian culture and possessed a large collection of books. He often gathered with scholars and literati, composing poems and essays in the wind and under the moon. He named his collection of works, which were created during these beautiful times ('flower mornings and moon evenings'), as 'Tou Jiangdong Shan Ji'.
