Story:
Towards the end of the Sui Dynasty, Li Yuan took his four-year-old son to Qizhou. A scholar from Qizhou paid a visit to Li Yuan. The scholar was skilled in physiognomy.
After carefully observing Li Yuan, he believed him to be a person of noble stature. Upon seeing his son, he remarked, "He possesses the appearance of a dragon and phoenix, with a countenance like the sun. When he reaches the age of twenty, he will surely be able to aid the world and bring peace to its people."
Li Yuan found this reasonable and named his son "Li Shimin".
