Chinese Text Morph Animation Generator

Turn one Chinese character, word or phrase into another with a morph animation. Build a sequence of 2–9 steps, preview the transitions and download an animated SVG, MP4 or transparent WebM video.

Try:
2–9 stages · Up to 24 characters each
Total: 2 × 1s = 2s

Enter 2–9 stages and generate an animated SVG preview.

Each stage changes into the next in order. Characters are paired by position; new strokes follow their writing paths, and matched strokes morph geometrically. Each transition uses the selected duration. Open the downloaded SVG in a browser to play it. White backgrounds export as MP4; transparent backgrounds export as WebM.

About this tool

Watch 木 become 本, then 末: Chinese character morphing gradually changes one character's shape into another. Enter your own sequence to create a Chinese text animation with 2–9 steps. You can also use words or short phrases; the tool pairs characters by their position in each step.

Customize your text transitions by setting the duration, ink color and a white or transparent background. Download an animated SVG for browser playback, an MP4 video with a white background or a transparent WebM video. The animation plays once and holds on the final step.

Frequently asked questions

Can I morph more than two Chinese characters?

Yes. Add a step after any step to make a sequence of 2–9 steps. Each step changes into the next in order.

Can I animate Chinese words or sentences?

Yes. Each stage can contain up to 24 characters. The tool pairs characters by position; extra characters appear or disappear during the transition.

Is the duration for each transition or the entire animation?

It applies to each transition. Three stages make two transitions, so a 2-second setting produces a 4-second animation.

Can I download the animation with a transparent background?

Yes. Choose Transparent under Background to download an animated SVG or a VP9 WebM video with transparency. Choose White for an MP4 video.

Can I download the morph as a video?

Yes. After generating the animation, choose White for an MP4 video or Transparent for a VP9 WebM video with transparency. Video export uses 60 frames per second and requires browser encoding support for the selected format.

Is this a stroke order or character history animation?

No. The tool makes a visual transition between the text you enter by matching stroke outlines. It does not show standard stroke order or explain how a character developed historically.
