Story:
During the Spring and Autumn period, in his later years, Confucius often traveled across various states with his disciples. One day, as they stood by a river, gazing at the ceaselessly flowing water, Confucius became thoughtful.
He sighed, lamenting that time, like the river, flowed away relentlessly, day and night, without ceasing.
His students, one after another, expressed their determination to cherish time, study diligently, and promote Confucian culture. Confucius felt greatly pleased.
