During the Baoli era of the Tang Dynasty, Yang Sifu hosted a banquet at his residence in Xinchang Ward. Poets Yuan Zhen and Bai Juyi were among the guests.
To liven up the party, guests composed poems. Yang Rushi, the Minister of Personnel, finished his poem last. Yuan Zhen and Bai Juyi were astonished upon seeing it.
