Story:

During the Former Qin dynasty, Dou Tao, the governor of Qinzhou, was exiled to Liusha county after offending a high-ranking official under Fu Jian.

His wife, Su Hui, was deeply separated from him and yearned for his return.

To convey her profound longing and concern for her husband, she ingeniously created a unique piece of brocade.

On this brocade, she meticulously wove 840 characters, arranged in a 29x29 square grid.

This remarkable 'palindromic brocade' could be read in various directions and patterns, reputedly yielding a total of 3752 poems, all expressing her deep affection and yearning for her absent husband.
