During the Jin Dynasty, there was a man named Wang Yan who, throughout his life, absolutely refused to speak about or utter the word "money."

His wife, wishing to challenge him, deliberately placed a pile of money in his path within their house, hoping to force him to acknowledge it and say the word "money."

However, when Wang Yan saw the money blocking his way, he simply instructed his wife to "remove those obstructing things" (阿堵物), skillfully avoiding the forbidden word altogether.
