Story:
During the Tang Dynasty, Emperor Gaozong intended to depose his empress and enthrone Consort Wu.
Chancellor Chu Suiliang vehemently objected, arguing that Consort Wu had previously served Emperor Taizong, Gaozong's father, and making her empress would be a scandal in the eyes of the people. He then requested to retire to his hometown.
Enraged, Emperor Gaozong ordered Chu Suiliang to be dragged out. From behind a curtain, Consort Wu emerged and fiercely demanded, "Strike down this villain!" (扑杀此獠), wishing for Chu Suiliang to be killed.
