钓鳌客 is a Chinese idiom (chengyu) meaning “a person with a grand spirit and lofty aspirations”. Someone with ambitious goals and a broad vision. Literally, “Guest who fishes for the mythical Ao”.
Legend has it that to the east of the Bohai Sea, there were five mountains that constantly floated with the waves. The Heavenly Emperor commanded fifteen giant Aos (mythical turtles) to hold them up with their heads, making the mountains stable.
A man from the Kingdom of Longbo, finding it very inconvenient to pass these five mountains on his journeys, learned that they were supported by the Aos. He then used bait to fish out these Aos, catching six of them in a row.
Consequently, two of these mountains sank into the sea.
