假手于人 is a Chinese idiom (chengyu) meaning “to use someone else as a tool or intermediary to accomplish a task”. Often to avoid direct involvement or responsibility. Literally, “borrow a hand from others”.
In ancient Fulv County, Zhao Jun'an was murdered by the local bully Li Shou. His three sons later died due to an epidemic. The heavy burden of avenging his family fell upon his daughter, Zhao E'qin.
Li Shou, seeing that the Zhao family had no male heirs, began to relax his vigilance. Zhao E'qin wanted to avenge her family as quickly as possible. She told people that the vendetta for her parents was irreconcilable, and that she would absolutely not entrust the task of revenge to others.
Later, she personally slew her enemy, Li Shou, with her own hands.
