During the Spring and Autumn period, Prince Liao became the King of Wu. His elder son, Guang, harbored resentment. He arranged a banquet where Zhuan Zhu, disguised as a chef, assassinated King Liao.
Guang then became King Helü of Wu. He appointed Wu Zixu as his prime minister and Sun Wu (Sun Tzu) as his general.
