Story:

In the early Western Han Dynasty, Han Xin led the Han army to attack the Zhao army.

As they were about to reach Jingxing Pass, Han Xin first selected 2,000 light cavalry, each carrying a red banner, and had them take a secret path to ambush near the Zhao camp.

He then arranged his main army with their backs to a river, luring the Zhao army to attack.

The Zhao army poured out of their camp. The Han army feigned defeat and retreated.

The previously ambushing soldiers then rushed into the Zhao camp and hoisted the Han army's red flags.

Consequently, the Zhao army suffered a great defeat.
