Story:

During the Southern and Northern Dynasties, Xu Ling, a renowned litterateur, was exceptionally intelligent from childhood. By the age of eight, he could compose exquisite essays, and by thirteen, he had mastered the philosophies of Laozi and Zhuangzi. He was widely acclaimed as a child prodigy.

When he was just a few years old, a guest named Baozhi met him and repeatedly praised him, saying he was a 'heavenly jade qilin'.
