Story:

Towards the end of the Shang Dynasty, King Zhou of Shang was notoriously dissolute, causing widespread discontent among the populace. King Wu of Zhou led a large army to besiege the Shang capital.

King Zhou of Shang ascended Lutai (Deer Terrace) and set himself on fire, committing suicide. King Wu of Zhou established the Zhou Dynasty, making Haojing its capital.

He sent his soldiers home to engage in agricultural production, returned all the requisitioned cattle and horses, and enabled the people throughout the land to live in peace and contentment.
