Story:
During the Tang Dynasty, in Hengyang Prefecture, Zhang Yi had a beautiful daughter named Qianniang. She fell deeply in love with her cousin, Wang Zhou. However, Zhang Yi forgot his earlier promise and arranged for Qianniang to marry someone else. Distraught, Wang Zhou departed from Hengyang. That very night, Qianniang pursued him, and they eloped, settling down in Chengdu, Sichuan, where they married and started a family.
More than ten years later, when they finally returned to Hengyang, they discovered a startling truth: the Qianniang who had accompanied Wang Zhou to Chengdu was merely her soul. Her physical body had remained at home, seemingly in a prolonged coma, all those years.
