Story:

During the Jin Dynasty, Gu Kaizhi, a renowned painter and calligrapher, was on leave and heading home. As he passed through Jingzhou, he made a point to visit his good friend, Yin Zhongkan.

Yin Zhongkan welcomed him warmly and suggested that Gu Kaizhi travel back to his hometown, Pozhong, by boat, even lending him a canvas sail.

Upon reaching Pozhong, Gu Kaizhi encountered a fierce storm. His boat was blown ashore, but he managed to walk home safely.

He then wrote a letter to Yin Zhongkan, saying, 'The place is named Pozhong (literally 'broken tomb'), and I truly felt as if I had emerged from a broken tomb. Yet, the traveler is safe and sound, and the canvas sail is unharmed.'
