During the Three Kingdoms period, Liu Bei sought advice on the current situation from Sima Hui. Sima Hui recommended to him that there were 'Crouching Dragon' and 'Young Phoenix' who were both outstanding strategists of their time.
Liu Bei eagerly asked for their names. Sima Hui informed him that 'Crouching Dragon' was Zhuge Liang from Nanyang, and 'Young Phoenix' was Pang Tong.
Liu Bei then visited Zhuge Liang's humble cottage three times to invite him, and later also received assistance from Pang Tong.
