Story:
During the Xia Dynasty, Yu's grandson, Tai Kang, became emperor. He indulged in excessive pleasures, which caused great sorrow among the common people.
One day, while he was hunting south of the Luo River, Yi, the ruler of a smaller state, took advantage of the situation and seized control of the Xia kingdom.
Tai Kang's younger brothers composed "The Song of the Five Sons," which included the profound teaching: "Our imperial ancestor taught that the people should be approached with closeness, not with disdain. The people are the root of the community; when the root is firm, the community will be tranquil."
Later, Zhong Kang, another brother, launched a campaign and successfully restored the Xia Dynasty.
