Story:

Legend has it that a scholar named Xun Gui was visiting Wuchang.

He rested on the Yellow Crane Tower and, in a daze, saw a person descend gracefully, riding an immortal crane that landed on the tower. The person had a refined and elegant demeanor.

The two shared wine, discussed poetry, and had a very engaging conversation. Before long, they were both pleasantly warmed by the wine.

The person then mounted the yellow crane, which flapped its wings and flew into the sky, disappearing forever.
