Story:

During the Later Tang Dynasty of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, Zhang Quanyi, the Prefect of Henan, was diligent and frugal. He was skilled at leading his army and pacifying the populace, often encouraging farmers to develop production, which ensured abundant military provisions.

He and another general, Li Hanzhi, initially got along wonderfully and enjoyed each other's company immensely (相得甚欢).

However, Li Hanzhi was notoriously corrupt, constantly demanding money and grain from Zhang Quanyi. Zhang Quanyi eventually found him intolerable.

In the end, Zhang Quanyi dispatched his army and annihilated Li Hanzhi's entire force.
