Story:

The legend goes that in ancient times, Lady White Snake and Xu Xian fell in love at first sight and got married.

Monk Fahai, seeing a demonic aura on Xu Xian, took him to Jinshan Temple and hid him behind the Dharma seat. Lady White Snake, accompanied by her maid Xiaoqing (Little Green Snake), came looking for her husband, but Fahai refused to let her see him.

Having no other choice, Lady White Snake engaged in a magical battle with Fahai, causing a massive flood that covered Jinshan Temple. Fahai summoned heavenly soldiers and generals to fight against Lady White Snake, eventually trapping her under Leifeng Pagoda.
