文君新醮 is a Chinese idiom (chengyu) meaning “refers to a widow's remarriage”. Particularly used to describe a woman embarking on a new marriage after being widowed. Literally, “Wen Jun's new wedding/remarriage”.
After the death of King Xiao of Liang, Sima Xiangru, a famous poet and prose writer of the Western Han Dynasty, returned to his hometown in Chengdu.
His friend, Wang Ji, the magistrate of Linqiong County, invited him to be a guest at the home of the wealthy businessman Zhuo Wangsun. Sima Xiangru became enamored with Zhuo Wangsun's widowed daughter, Zhuo Wenjun.
The two secretly pledged their love and eloped, returning to Sima Xiangru's impoverished home.
They then opened a wine shop and began their simple, modest life together.
