Story:
During the Spring and Autumn period, Guan Zhong and Bao Shuya of the State of Qi shared an exceptionally close relationship.
When they were young, they often went into business together. Bao Shuya would always contribute more capital but take less profit, knowing that Guan Zhong was poor and willingly helped his impoverished friend.
After Duke Huan of Qi ascended the throne, Bao Shuya recommended Guan Zhong for the position of prime minister, deferring the role to him.
Guan Zhong famously said, 'Only Bao Shuya truly understands me.'
