During the Western Han Dynasty, Huo Guang, the half-brother of General Huo Qubing, was appointed as Guang Lu Da Fu (Minister of the Imperial Household).
Whenever the emperor traveled, Huo Guang would always follow closely. He was always extremely careful and cautious when entering and leaving the imperial palace, never making any mistakes. Emperor Wu trusted him deeply and appointed him as Da Si Ma (Grand Marshal).
