Story:

During the Three Kingdoms period, Cao Cao originally intended to make Cao Zhi his heir, which aroused the jealousy and hatred of his eldest son, Cao Pi.

After Cao Pi ascended the throne, he repeatedly persecuted Cao Zhi and changed his fiefdom three times.

In 223 AD, Cao Pi summoned Cao Zhi, Cao Zhang, and Cao Biao to the capital for an imperial audience. Cao Zhi, unable to attend due to certain reasons, submitted a memorial to Cao Pi, begging for forgiveness and stating: "I long to see your venerable face, as if hungry and thirsty."
