Story:
Towards the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Liu Biao, the governor of Jing Province, died of illness. His son surrendered to Cao Cao. Liu Bei was forced to retreat south.
Sun Quan sent Lu Su to establish contact with Liu Bei, and Zhuge Liang believed that an alliance between Wu and Shu could resist Cao Cao.
Sun Quan, being resourceful and decisive, analyzed that Cao Cao had made tactical errors in deploying his troops. Consequently, he allied with the Shu army and decisively defeated Cao Cao's claimed 800,000-strong army at the Battle of Red Cliffs, thus forming the tripartite division of power.
