Story:

Legend has it that during the Spring and Autumn period, internal strife in the State of Chu was intense. When Ling Yin (Prime Minister) Sun Shuao was on his deathbed, he admonished his son not to accept the fertile land granted by the King of Chu, lest others covet it.

Instead, he advised his son to request the barren and infertile land of Qinqiu. This way, no one would desire it, allowing his son to 'sleep soundly' in Qinqiu and ensure its long-term possession.
