再作冯妇 is a Chinese idiom (chengyu) meaning “to resume one's old profession or business”. To return to one's former occupation or trade; to go back to one's old line of work. Literally, “Again act as Feng Fu”.
During the Warring States period, there was a brave warrior named Feng Fu from the State of Jin. He was known for daring to fight tigers barehanded.
Later, he declared that he would never hunt tigers again and would dedicate himself to studying.
One day, while he was enjoying an outing in the countryside with his friends, they saw a crowd of people surrounding a tiger, but no one dared to go forward and fight it.
Feng Fu, seeing the situation, stepped forward, grabbed the tiger, and with a single powerful move, slammed it to its death.
His friends then exclaimed, "You've returned to your old profession again!"
