Story:
In 258 BC, the State of Qin dispatched troops to besiege Handan, the capital of the State of Zhao. The King of Zhao appealed to the King of Wei for help.
The King of Wei sent Xinyuan Yan to Handan to persuade Zhao to recognize King Zhaoxiang of Qin as emperor.
Lu Zhonglian of the State of Qi heard about this and went to meet Xinyuan Yan, explaining the many disadvantages of Qin becoming emperor.
Prince Wuji of Wei seized power and led troops to lift the siege. Lord Pingyuan then rewarded Lu Zhonglian for resolving Zhao's difficulties and settling its disputes.
