Story:

During the Southern Dynasties, in the era of Emperor Wu of Liang, Jiang Zong gained renown for his poems expressing personal sentiments. He formed a close, age-defying friendship with Zhang Zan, the Minister of Personnel, and other officials.

Emperor Wu of Liang highly praised Jiang Zong, calling him a man of '神采英拔' (radiant and distinguished appearance and bearing) and exceptional talent.

Later, during the reign of Emperor Chen Houzhu, Jiang Zong was greatly favored. He frequently attended Emperor Chen Houzhu's banquets, where he would compose poems and music, and enjoy singing and drinking late into the night until dawn.
