Story:
During the Jin Dynasty, Li Mi, a high-ranking official from the former Shu Kingdom, returned to his hometown after Shu's fall to care for his 96-year-old grandmother.
Emperor Wu of Jin, Sima Yan, summoned him to serve as Tutor to the Crown Prince. However, Li Mi wished to remain with his grandmother and declined the offer.
He penned a memorial to the emperor, known as "Chen Qing Biao" (A Memorial to Express My Feelings), in which he stated, "The local prefectures are pressuring me, urging me to embark on the journey, and the provincial authorities are at my door, as urgent as a meteor's flash." He expressed his desire to serve the emperor only after he had fulfilled his duty to his grandmother.
