Story:

The talented Tang Dynasty poet Li Shangyin's poems often exposed and criticized the dark realities and official corruption of his time.

In his work "Zazuan" (Miscellaneous Records), he listed various things that greatly spoiled the beauty or atmosphere.

These included actions like "washing feet in a clear spring, drying underwear on flowers, building a building with its back to the mountain, burning a zither and cooking a crane, sipping tea while facing flowers (implying inappropriate detachment), and shouting under pine trees."

These were all considered disheartening or enjoyment-spoiling acts at that time.
