Story:
During the late Eastern Han Dynasty, Cao Cao and Yuan Shao were locked in a fierce battle at Guandu. Yuan Shao dispatched an envoy to seek aid from Liu Biao. Liu Biao then discussed the situation with his generals, Han Song and Liu Xian.
Initially, they considered adopting a wait-and-see approach, observing the unfolding developments. However, Han Song proposed that aligning with Cao Cao would guarantee prosperity and honor, deeming it a 'wán quán zhī cè' (a perfectly safe strategy).
