Story:
In the early Tang Dynasty, the Eastern Turks frequently encroached upon the northern borders of the Great Tang. Emperor Taizong ordered Li Jing to lead an expedition against them.
Li Jing achieved a great victory, compelling the Eastern Turkic leader to seek peace with the Tang court. Emperor Taizong outwardly agreed to the peace proposal.
However, Li Jing held the belief that "speed is paramount in warfare, and a golden opportunity is not to be missed." He then launched a swift attack, completely annihilating the Eastern Turkic army.
