Story:
Miaoyu came to Grand View Garden to visit Xichun. Jia Baoyu, perhaps acting a bit sentimentally, offered to see Miaoyu off.
As they walked along a winding path in the garden, they heard the melodious yet mournful sound of a zither coming from the Bamboo Lodge. They sat on a rock, captivated by the sorrowful and lingering music, when suddenly a string snapped.
Miaoyu was to return to her temple, leaving Baoyu utterly bewildered and full of unanswered questions. He returned to the House of Green Delights feeling spirited and puzzled.
