In the late Eastern Han Dynasty, Lady Wu, the wife of General Sun Jian in the Wu region, dreamt that the moon entered her bosom. Soon after, she became pregnant and gave birth to Sun Ce.
Later, she dreamt that the sun entered her bosom while pregnant again.
She then told Sun Jian, 'When I was pregnant with Sun Ce, I dreamt of the moon entering my bosom. What will it mean now that I've dreamt of the sun entering my bosom?'
Sun Jian replied that it was an omen indicating the birth of an emperor.
