Story:
During the Warring States period, Su Qin visited King Hui of Qin to advocate for his "Vertical Alliance" strategy.
He extolled the advantages of the Qin state, saying, "Your Majesty's state possesses the benefits of Ba, Shu, and Hanzhong to the west, the uses of Hu, Hao, and Dai horses to the north, the barriers of Wushan and Qianzhong to the south, and the strongholds of Yao and Han to the east. Its fields are fertile and beautiful, its people are prosperous and wealthy, with ten thousand chariots of war, a million fierce warriors, and a thousand li of rich land. Truly, it is a 'Land of Heavenly Abundance'..."
However, King Hui of Qin was not swayed by his arguments.
