Story:
The earliest anthology of Chinese poetry, "The Classic of Poetry" (Shijing), tells of a beautiful and affectionate maiden who went out to pick mulberries in the wilderness. There, she saw a young man as beautiful as fresh flowers and as refined as pure jade. Although he was dressed simply and elegantly, his every gesture and word exuded grace. The maiden instantly developed a deep admiration and love for this youth, who was "as beautiful as a flower and as pure as jade."
