In Yuhua County of Tianzhu Kingdom, Sun Wukong and his two companions, Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing, had their weapons stolen during the night.
Sun Wukong investigated everywhere and encountered two wolf-head demons from Tiger Mouth Cave on Leopard Head Mountain. They were on their way to the market to purchase pigs and sheep, as their king had acquired the three weapons the previous night and was preparing a 'Nail-Rake Feast.'
Sun Wukong immobilized the two minor demons, seized their silver and waist tokens, and returned. After discussion, Sun Wukong and his companions decided to turn the tables.
The three bid farewell to their master and outside the city, they fully displayed their extraordinary powers: Bajie and Wukong recited incantations, instantly transforming themselves to look exactly like the two wolf-head demons, and wore the waist tokens. Sha Wujing disguised himself as a merchant selling pigs and sheep. Together, they herded seven or eight pigs and four or five sheep along the main road, heading directly towards Tiger Mouth Cave.
