Story:

During the Warring States period, Bai Gui, the prime minister of the State of Wei, achieved great success in flood control. He was skilled at building dikes to prevent floods and was diligent in inspecting and repairing them.

He regularly patrolled the dikes, and upon discovering even the smallest ant-hole, he would immediately send people to fill it, preventing any leakage. This was to avoid the small holes from gradually expanding, breaching the dike, and causing a major disaster.

During Bai Gui's tenure as prime minister of Wei, the state never suffered from severe floods.
