Story:
During the Tang Dynasty, the poet Meng Jiao lived a simple and quiet life in seclusion on Mount Song when he was young. Encouraged by his mother, he made several attempts to pass the imperial examinations in the capital but failed.
It wasn't until he was 41 that he finally succeeded and became a *jinshi* (a successful candidate in the highest imperial examination).
To express his overwhelming joy, he wrote a famous poem: "Past struggles are not worth boasting of; today, my carefree thoughts know no bounds. Triumphant in the spring breeze, my horse's hooves fly fast, in a single day, I admire all the flowers of Chang'an."
