Story:

Legend has it that in the Xianyang Palace of the Qin Dynasty, there was a miraculous mirror. It was four feet wide and five feet tall, capable of reflecting people from both its front and back sides. When a person stood before it, their reflection would appear inverted.

If one pressed their hand against their chest while looking into the mirror, it was said to reveal their internal organs, any ailments within, and even the true intentions of those with malicious hearts. Emperor Qin Shi Huang frequently employed this mirror to scrutinize the people around him.
