Story:
During the Spring and Autumn period, Duke Xiang of Jin defeated the state of Qin and captured three Qin generals: Meng Mingshi, Bai Yibing, and Xi Qishu.
Duke Xiang, following his mother's teaching that "it's better to resolve enmity than to maintain it," released the three generals.
General Xian Zhen and Yang Chufu immediately led their troops to pursue them.
However, Meng Mingshi and his companions had already reached the Yellow River, jumped into a fishing boat, and escaped, thus becoming "fish that slipped through the net" for the state of Jin.
